Product DescriptionWhen Pennywise vocalist Jim Lindberg left the band last year after 20 years, nine studio albums, millions of records sold and countless sold-out tours, many people in the music world assumed that would be the last they had heard of Lindberg for a while.
They were wrong.
Almost immediately after leaving Pennywise, Lindberg recruited drummer Alan Vega and teamed up with producer/Far guitarist Shaun Lopez (Deftones, Giant Drag) to flush out a batch of songs that see Lindberg moving in a more sonically varied and experimental direction without abandoning any of the energy of his previous act.
The result is the Black Pacific s debut full-length, a collection of energetic anthems that encompass all of Lindberg s influences and also see his songwriting taken to the next level. With this album there was definitely a sense that I had something to prove and sometimes that s a good motivator, Lindberg explains. This project has brought back a spirit of four guys just going into a room and jamming without any preconceptions. I can t wait for people to hear it.
