Brothers Four fans will delight in the songs on this double album but the sound quality is what blew me away. Sony has done an outstanding job with this album. You would never believe these songs were originally recorded in the '50s and '60s. It's truly amazing how good these songs sound. A great addition to any B4 fans collection!" Since reaching adulthood, I have been trying to re-acquire these lost treasures. I found The Brothers Four on used vinyl but to have it on CD is amazing. To have my own kids able to hear the four frat brothers is truly a blessing. I know this isn't much of a review, but I tried to make it a proper review -- singling out one song to recommend over others, and I couldn't. I thought about remarking on the banjo work, the infectiious spirit of the music, etc. But to make a long story short, the whole album is phenomenal. And I'm not just saying that because of some nostalgic feeling, since this was among my first exposures to music. As a child you love the music of your parents, then as a teen, you take the popular stuff. Later, you realize how right your parents were. Good music is good music.
