Product DescriptionThe Flying Burrito Brothers were one of the fathers of Country Rock. Long after the original band of Gram Parsons and his cohorts from the Byrds and the International Submarine Band faded away, the moniker was maintained by an every changing crew of musicians. The longest running aggregation was spearheaded by Gib Gilbeau and John Beland (both from Swampwater) often with Sneaky Pete in tow. They toured and released albums, had some hits and eventually dropped Flying from the name. This 28 song double album was recorded in 1986-87 but not released for another decade and is finally available in the US once again.
