Great classic vocal pop

"An early 60s pop vocal group known for little beyond their one big hit, the classic "Rhythm Of The Rain," (which was actually penned by the group's lead singer), the Cascades are one of the more solid-sounding and enjoyable of the many early-rock era vocal groups not to make it big. If you're an Everly Brothers fan, the Cascades offer up a nice set of the typical early 60s love and heartbreak songs that have the same sunny, easygoing feel that made the Everlys famous, including a lead singer (John Gummoe), who sounds strikingly similar, and a nice backdrop of organs and soft guitars."
