The Cheetah Girls return from their 2006 sold out tour with their first studio album TCG! Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams & Sabrina Bryan wrote and recorded songs with some of the top song writers and Producers in the world! The long awaited follow-up to the multi million selling CD franchise is ALL Cheetah Girls and so much more!!!
"TCG is a good attempt at a contemporary studio album that shows the Cheetah Girls are growing up. It has a couple of great dance songs (Fuego in particular) and a couple good mellow songs with a message (Who We Are and Homesick). Ironically, the three songs that are pushed as the "hits" on the album cover sticker are some of the weakest tunes (Human, So Bring It On and the very weird car analogy Crash). The album notes say the Cheetah Girls helped write at least half of the songs and the good news for parents is that all of the songs are clean. There's no reason to fear that they have tried to grow up too fast. Most of the numbers are about dancing--and even though this album isn't as good as the Disney movie CDs (mainly because Raven isn't on this CD), it's something that fans should enjoy until the next movie can come out."
The Cheetah Girls are really good

"I have to admit as a mother to an 11-year-old girl that the only reason I first learned of The Cheetah Girls was by chance on the Disney Channel one evening. I've sat with my daughter to watch both movies and now we're watching Sabrina on Dancing with the Stars (and really looking forward to the 3rd movie). I am now truly a Cheetah Girls fan! Their new album, TCG, is quite good (I bought it for me, not my daughter, although I'm sure she'll take it away from me) and I am really enjoying it. I love Fuego and Human but all of the songs are quite good. Way to go Cheetahs - and I have to say they're just as good (maybe better) without Raven as they are with her..."
Fun pop album

"I thought that the Cheetah Girls' new album, TCG is a fun, bouncy pop release. But what stands out is the singing, especially the second half! There are a few numbers that recall '80s pop, though not too derivative or retro. The three JR Rotem produced songs solidify the huge impact he's made on urban music the past 12 months. I've heard about 20 different songs he's done for artists, and the Cheetah Girls' efforts step them up a notch from their early Disney songs. One reason I give the album only 3 stars is that they try a little too hard to sound like Destiny's Child on 2-3 dance numbers. They sound a little bit like DC's hits Survivor or Lose My Breath. And I'm in my 30s and love this effort. They will really expand their audience with this release."
A very underrated album

"Not only these girls are really talented (and better without Raven), but they can do it live! And they'll rock your world.
This album was very well-produced and the songs are really really good. That Adrienne girl, Oh my, her vocals are amazing!
At the end of the day, one could say that Disney is lucky enough to have these girls once TCG are the only act that can do it live and has a decent sense of harmonies, lyrics and melodies.
Shame Hollywood Records (as usual) didn't help the girls to promote it.
Highlights are Homesick, Fuego and Human.
Give this album a go. You won't regret."

"Ever since the first movie came out, I have been a Cheetah Girls fanatic. So when I heard that they had another CD out I snapped it up. The cool thing about this one is that, unlike the other soundtracks, this CD is about their own personal lives. So no more, Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda. Now it's Adrienne, Kiely and Sabrina.
This CD is full of catchy, up-beat tunes that make you want to get up and dance. There a couple of slower, more thought-provoking ones sprinkled throughout, though. These are the songs:
1. Fuego - This is a great song that makes you want to dance! It has a different sound to it, and I love the beginning! It's part hip hop, part Latin which makes a really cool song! 9/10
2. Uh Oh - This song is okay. The lyrics cover that over-used topic: having feelings for your ex, but it makes up for it by having neat music. It has a cool techno/hip hop beat that I really like. 8/10
3. Human - This is one of my favorite songs! Not only does it have a cool R&Bish sound to it, I think the lyrics are really good! 10/10
4. So Bring It On - First off I want to say I love the guitar! I really like how they sprinkled rock into this hop hop song. This is a really neat get-up-and-dance-in-your-PJ's type song, with fun lyrics! 9/10
5. Break Out This Box - This is one of the more serious songs I mentioned, although it's still a fun pick-me-up song. It's about breaking out of the old box, and living your own life. It has a neat beat that you can dance to, and the lyrics are so good! 9/10
6. Crash - I really like this song. It's about meeting a guy and things not working out, but it covers it using a car crash analogy, which makes for a really different, but cool song! It also has a neat beat, and I love to dance to it! 9/10
7. Do No Wrong - I LOVE THIS SONG! It's definitely one of my fave on the CD. The lyrics are average, but they execute them well. But the music is what really makes this song stand out. It has an awesome dance beat, that ROX! 10/10
8. All In Me - This song is really great! It's a very Saturday-night-in-your-PJ's kind of song. It's about having fun with your girls and how you don't need anything but yourself and your friends to have fun! It has a neat jazzy beat that you can't help but dance to! 10/10
9. Off The Wall - This song just plain ROX! It's a hip hop with a sprinkle of jazz and it has a really neat sound to it. It's about getting on the dance floor and off the wall! I love it! 9/10
10. Who We Are - This is another one of those songs with a more serious meaning. It's about digging deeper than just the material things in life, and realizing who you are as a person. It's really beautiful and I love the lyrics! 10/10
11. Homesick - OMIGOSH! I have to say I was so surprised by this song! From the title, and the few clips I heard, I thought it would be a sad song. (And it is, in a way.) But, the beautifulness of it outweighs the sadness. Obviously, as the name suggests it's about being homesick. But, the way it was written, (and btw, it was originally a poem written by Kiely!) really speaks to you. By far, my favorite song on the CD! 1,000/10"
