"The problem with most rock 'n' roll bands today (i.e. The Strokes, The Hives, The Vines, The White Stripes, etc), is that they all sound the same. The Deadlines, formerly a horror punk band, create a sound in this album rich in rock, punk, and glam roots that sounds almost completely unique to them. It's a shame that they broke up and this is their last release, since I was excited to see where they would go next sound wise. Highlights are 'I Want A Stalker', 'Burn In/Burn Out', 'Cut It Loose', and 'Napalm Holiday'."

"....than a fresh pair of pants! I'll take this band over The Strokes any day. Casablancas and company could learn a thing or two from The Deadlines. Wearing your influences on your sleeve is quite a bit different than blatantly ripping said influences off. Too bad the hype machine won't rally around this band and get them the exposure they deserve. Check out 'Fashion Over Function' and 'I Want A Stalker'."
