Very VERY good!

"My only complaint regarding this (obvious stop-gap) release is that it's too short, clocking in at roughly 35 minutes long.
All the same, quality over quantity, the songs are great. They'll burrow a hole into your head and refuse to leave for days on-end. Much more pop-py and bright (when compared to their heavier masterworks ie. NO CITIES LEFT), this album is a collection of earlier material, very brit-pop, very catchy, very worth the money."
BUY NO CITIES LEFT!!!

"FIRSTLY, Buy No Cities LeftThen Orchestral Pop Noir RomantiqueThen End of a Hollywood Bedtime StoryThen, if you feel like it, this piece of poo.It sounds like they did this with a four track recorder in a garage and the songs blow. I've seen them live, they are not like this crap at all, they are AMAZING!!!there is even liner notes that says this really isn't even the dears as we know them today....."
Solid collection of tunes

"This is a compilation of older tracks from the Dears, recorded before the Montreal band became famous (well, to Canadian indie fans I guess), and it's a fun bunch of tunes. Their Britpop influences, like Blur and the Smiths, are very obvious on some tracks, but they're still groovy! Good indie pop with bounce and attitude!"
