"While the Ditchdiggers brand of cowpunk exemplifies what, in my opinion, is the future of music, with their blended genres and no boundaries style, the emphasis for them is on fun. Whether you call them part of the insurgent country movement, or identify them with any of the other new, yet meaningless categorical labels, the point is that they make great music and you can tell they have a good time doing it. Their infectious energetic melodies, which are equal parts rock and twang, are combined with, often humorous, lyrics that invoke a distinctively southern flavor. You can bet that Hank Sr. is somewhere listening to their cover of his song "You Win Again" with an approving rebel smile. This disk is the epitome of "hoe down" party music."Cow Patty Bingo" has quickly become one of my favorite disks (out of literally hundreds) and spends much more time in my CD player than it does in its case. Buy this disk, and if you ever have the chance, see them live. You will not regret it!"
