Weapons grade folk music

"They're back! They're doing strange, and probably illegal things with guitars again! And most worryingly- they're still unmedicated! The Drews understand that sometimes you can cut deepest with a nylon string and a sense of life's absurdity. OK, so they're not going to be famous anytime soon- and I'm not expecting them to be overthrowing any of the larger fascist regimes (at least not yet). But the Drews are helping just a little with what Bill Hicks referred to as our need to evolve so that we can get on those UFOs and explore the universe together. Particular highlights on this CD include their paean to 'Nasty Girls' and their obligatory 'you'll get yours' song 'Not so Near to Here'. The Drews are proving that they have a talent for consistently well-crafted song-writing with fun and interesting guitar arrangements. I wish there were more Drewish people in the world."
