Mindseed Records is a part of MEGA, (Mindseed Entertainment Group & Associates)which is a division of Mindseed Corporation. Mindseed employs 115 personnel in two USA facilities, the 4,000 sq.foot corporate office in Oakland, CA., and their 35,000 sq. foot factory in Pittsburg, CA. The company is represented in Asia & Europe from an office in Perth, Australia, run by the Rock/Pop guitarist and sensational Aussie singing star, Jeff Brownrigg.71 Mindseed was founded in 1979 by Edwin & Joanne Anderson, and the couple still own and run the organization. Corporate headquarters are located at the Port Of Oakland's enchanting Embarcadero Cove, an area next to the yachts and sailboats berthed on the estuary between the island city of Alameda, the Coast Guard island base, and Oakland proper. There are huge, preserved, turn-of-the-century victorian mansions, now used as offices for professional firms, the famous restaurant, Quinns Lighthouse, boat and ship repair docks, fairy book paths and trails with quaint fish ponds, waterfalls, tall trees and little sheds that look like doll houses, are all on the grounds of the Cove. In this setting sits Mindseed, offering solace and warmth to the minds of its clients and staff. This facility features one 32trk and two 24trk.recording studios, a CD mastering lab,CD/CD-ROM duplication and packaging, two Video Editing Suites,graphics and artwork design and fabrication,television, radio, motion picture, video and audio production and post-production, publishing, legal, financial, marketing, sales, promotion, distribution, and ancillary management. All work is done in-house except the replication of retail CD's. Mindseed is a member of Discmakers Studio Partner Progam, sending all their CDs to them for replication. Mindseed Records will release 10 albums this year, 4 Jazz; 2 Urban; 2 Gospel; 1 Rock; 1 Pop.
