"This CD is just great. They are four of the best singers around. "Mary, Did You Know?" is beautiful. I've heard others sing it, but no one does it better than Mark Lowry."
The Best Christmas CD ever!!!

"I am 14 and a huge fan of southern gospel music. I love the gaither vocal band. this christmas CD is by far one of the best I have ever heard if not the best. Each member sings so well and so beautifully on each song. there are a few traditonial songs but many are very new. "New Star Shining" "Mary did you know" are my two faveorites. "Mary Did You Know?" was written by baritone Mark Lowry. I love this CD and if you are looking for a good christmas CD i would highly reccomend this one."
An excellent collection of fine Christmas songs.

"For those of you who are not yet aquainted with the Gaither Vocal Band, this album is a good introduction. The high level of vocal quality demonstrated by all four members of the group (lead singer Guy Penrod deserves special recognition having, in my opinion, one of the best voices in the music industry at large) creates a unique blend which rivals any vocal group, secular or Christian. This album contains possibly the latest addition to the 'Christmas Classics' in Mark Lowry's "Mary, Did You Know", and "New Star Shining" alone is worth the price of the album. The quality level of the Gaither Vocal Band, which has always been ahead of the rest, rises to a new level with this, their latest release."

"The Gaither Vocal Band has become the #1 selling male quartet in America, and this release is a perfect representation of why. This CD can be listened to all year and not get tiring. Guy Penrod has one of the great lead voices anywhere and he is allowed to shine on many of the songs. Do yourself a favor and buy this for yourself for Christmas!"
