The Gathering is a Sedona based music group with haunting native-american flute with hints of flamenco-guitar, tribal drums and all inspired by the beautiful red rock landscape.

Sean Vasquez (flute) has been asked by locals and by visitors of Sedona, Arizona to please put a cd together, and this cd is the result of that demand.

The cd title "Going Home" has this meaning to the artist:

The term "going home" can hold significance in more ways than one. For some, it relates to our passing, our crossing from one world to the next; going back to the beginning. Going home can also mean following one's individual path which leads to wherever their personal comfort lies. For some, wherever your hat is hung is home, while for others it's where you hang your heart. For myself, it means al of the above and more. It may involve one or a multitude of things to take you there, but all that matters is that you make it. We hope this collection of music will touch your heart and soul on your own journey home.
