Synopsis

Product Description
The Jack Stafford Foundation spreads message of love with new album The new foundation... It s been almost two years since the release of Exes and the collaboration of Jack Stafford and Jasmine Wynants as honeymoon sweethearts and singer-songwriters. Sharing a history of fruitless love affairs and a passion for music and the arts, their first date in Amsterdam s sex palace Casa Rosso (where the last album launch was held) changed the face of the Jack Stafford Foundation forever. From gloom to groom... From the doom and gloom of failed relationships to the ecstasy and elation of finding the one that succeeded; the Jack Stafford Foundation s second album Long Live Love is the complete opposite in mood and style to the Foundation s debut album. Sonny & Cher on a UK LSD love trip... Moving on from electrock and Exes to a sound built on beautiful vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars and other elements, Long Live Love welcomes the return of Marc Driessen as producer to give the Foundation a different yet equally outstanding performance. Early Beautiful South meets Syd Barrett and Joan Baez with a distinctive English taste. More than a handful of talented musicians guest star, including Paul Willemsen, co-producer of Exes. Harp, banjo, harmonica, accordion and even a church organ feature, making the new album a bohemian masterpiece. Long Live Love was recorded and mixed by Marc Driessen at MDPD Studio, Amsterdam in August 2006 and mastered by Darius van Helfteren at Wisseloord Studio, Hilversum in August 2006.
