Good but not the best by the Lillys

"While this collection is strong, the best example I know of the Lilly brothers energetic mainstream bluegrass style is a CD available from Folkways through their web site. It's called "Folk Songs from the Southern Mountains" by The Lilly Brothers and Don Stover. The Lillys were going flat out on the fast numbers with great mandolin and ultra-high, ultra-lonesome vocals. Don Stover's banjo is driving and right on time. The ballads and slow gospel numbers are also first rate. ... I'd looked for this CD for years to replace my often-played vinyl copy. Check it out!"
