We found The Lippies in a Las Vegas bar and they immediately set the room on fire with their caustic words and buzzsaw guitars. Turns out it was the first time the band had ever left their hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We saw a buncha kids barely old enough to drink playing old-school punk (think The Gits, Dead Kennedys, and The Avengers) and blending fresh melodies with an urgent message. This self-described, "feminist pop-punk" band has crazy potential, and they plan to bust ass on the road to share these songs, from basements to big stages. They're already getting offers to play festivals and have tours booked with bands like The Falcon, Worriers, The Copyrights and many more to come!
