Great sound for a summer road trip!

"Warmer Corners was my first foray into The Lucksmiths' world and I've never been happier since finding them! They first lured me in with 'A Chapter In Your Life Entitled San Francisco' that excited me because of the contrast between the angst-ish lyrics and the upbeat poppy sound. I loved it enough to buy the album soon after. On first listening it was hard to separate some of their songs - I think due to Tali White's vocals that have a sweet sameness about them (in the best way possible!).
However, further listening will enable you to discover the subtle differences that make each song truly beautiful and I find myself constantly disappointed that one song is ending only to be elated when the next song starts! It's hard to settle on a favourite song from this album but I think 'Sunlight in a Jar', 'A Hiccup in Your Happiness', 'The Music Next Door' and 'Great Lenghts' are the standouts.
Warmer Corners is the perfect introduction to The Lucksmiths that will at the least give you exposure to some great summer tunes!"
