"So refreshing to hear more by Holly Beth Vincent after a ten year studio absence. She is a true rock pioneer and deserves far more than she has gotten from both the recording industry and the rock fan. i will admit it took a few listens to this to get acclimated but now it has been glued to my CD player. This is why i like Holly Beth Vincent so much, she is always progressing. She toured backing up Concrete Blonde after this was released and what a treat that concert series must have been. But you con listen to this on a surface level and it is just good rock but if you seriously listen to how the whole bands interacts and the vocals are so much above the ordinary rock lyric. i don't think it is possible for Holly to disappoint. Buy this or the gods will frown on you."

"Holly Vincent of Holly and the Italians fame made a long awaited come back with this release. If you are a die hard Holly fan you'll probably be able to put in the effort needed to explore and enjoy this CD. There's nothing about this CD that instantly grabs the listener or has the appeal of her previous material, it's more of an experimental journey here.
Worth owning for a Holly Vincent fan, but certainly not a CD with mainstream appeal.
You can follow the adventures of Holly Vincent in the group "vowel movement" with concrete blonde singer Johnette Napolitano. As well as the three "holly and the italians" releases.
