This is The pHormula's first album as entire group. Before this the group only consisted of Philosophy and Dj Phonics and after this E.T.(examine the truth) and Alphamatic joined the group. So this album is the first TRUE pHormula CD. The name signfies the excitement of a bright future....like What the pH? is this Hip Hop really from Wyoming (although now living in the great Northwest)?? Yes..... I know it's weird....it's unexpected......but it is a suprise that is well needed. The pHormula provides a relief to the drudgery in life with this upbeat, fast paced and hard hitting album. This overtone can be seen in the feature tracks, Oohh Yeah, Little Miss Thang, Comfortable Silence, Get Down and saving the best for last.........Change. The pHormula is a three man entourage of overtime-working Hip Hop artists. They have three emcees: E.T., Philosophy and Alphamatic. The pHormula is self described as, Ear opening Hip Hop with enthralling lyrics over phenomenal beats which raises your fists, touches your heart and ignites artistic passion. Their sound is catchy, but not commercial and conscientious, but not preachy. The pHormula strives to create a style that symbolizes the ancient law of originality.
