"Simply put...The Searchers were one of the most talented groups to come out of Merseyside. They have several great live albums out and the BBC sessions is no exception. Great songs that were never recorded by the group and several songs that were. This is a highly recommended album for any Searchers fan. Great interviews too with that lovely Scouse accent. Brilliant!!"

"With 21 tracks on each disc this is good value, although some are interviews which do enhance the package.
Disc 1 highlights:
A fun song, Bumble Bee.
The super What Have They Done To The Rain?
The evergreen When You Walk In The Room.
The improved from the studio version of Be My baby.
Disc 2 highlights.
The Jagger/Richards pened Take It Or Leave It.
The never heard before Dylan standard Blowin' In The Wind.
The gentle Canadian ballard Four Strong Winds.
The challenging Have You Ever Loved Somebody?
The first five Pye recordings are the best of The Searchers when it comes to studio albums, if you like those, you will most likely enjoy this collection."
