For their second Fortress recording project, The Starlights choose L.A.'s famed Academy Cathedral, one of the country's most historic movie palaces created in Hollywood's Golden Age and now converted to house the ministry of the Academy Cathedral. The large audience lept to its feet with The Starlights' band's first chord and remained standing for the entire performance. Fourteen great songs, covering the stylistic spectrum from old-time, down-home church singin' to easy Pop to "Boyz-II-Men" Contemporary give The Starlights the opportunity to honor the past and explore the future of gospel quartet singing. Lead singer Greg Botts is a powerful singer and exhorter who involves the enthusiastic audience throughout this remarkable Gospel worship and praise experience.
