As Alan Clayson says in the booklet notes, "The Troggs are where pop begins and ends . the starkly functional guitar-bass-drums-vocals set-up and the thrilling margin of error remain as potent now as they were when the Troggs put the sleepy Hampshire town of Andover on the pop map in 1966". Indeed! The live recordings are from their 1999 Sixties Gold Tour, also included are a couple of new tracks and a bonus CD featuring an interview with Reg Presley - all previously unreleased material.
