A true rocker

"This album achieves a unique position in the garage music genre in that its 12 tracks capture with absolute perfect fidelity what AM rock 'n' roll radio sounded like around 1966. Perhaps a more apt description would be that it is a mirror of what a live show might have sounded like at that time. This band manages to not just play the chords associated with this style of music - an incorrect statement on my part because the styles included on this album span from three-chord charges to surf music to instrumentals - in the correct sequence, they in fact recreate the sounds without any tint of imitation that sometimes causes works such as this to be a bit kitschey.

Go out, buy the album, play it loud and dance to it!"
