The recording is marvelous--the vocals are moving, the lyrics are powerful, and the music stirs the soul. Anything produced to date by The Wyrd Sisters is definitely worth hearing--their sound, sort of a jazzy, bluesy, folky sound, is nothing short of captivating. I heartily recommend this CD--as well as this group's earlier recordings (Their first recording, LEAVE A LITTLE LIGHT was released only on cassette and, as far as I know, is only available for purchase in Canada.)."
