Let the word go forth from this time and place...
Uncle Pumblechook | Lexington, KY | 01/11/2006

"... TMGE rock like absolute madmen. This disc kicks ass six ways to Sunday. Highlights include the first track "Citroën no kodoku" #3 "Abakartreta Sekai (The World Exposed)" and #14 "The Redhead Kelly". Track #11, "Margaret," is flat-out one of the best rock songs I have heard in years, maybe ever, in any tongue. Seriously, these guys kick out the jams. No matter what language you speak: if you want rock, grab Rodeo Tandem Beat Specter."
Loud, straight R-N-R
Brian Dunn | San Jose, CA United States | 12/24/2001

"With a grittier edge than previous straight garage punk albums, Thee Michelle Gun Elephant have created another masterpiece of heavy guitar RNR. If you like Guitar Wolf or the King Brothers, other greats in Japanese garage punk rock, you'll love Thee Michelle Gun Elephant.Check out their "Collection" album, a best hits collection that covers everything up to this album if you want a taste of their previous work."
Simply cool.

"This band really transcends cultural barriers. Even in Japanese they inspire a good time in western audiences. So don't be afraid of the language thing. Though they are usually categorized as garage or punk these guys really have it together. The production value is excellent. One of my all time favorites."
