Synopsis

Album Description
2007 release from the edgy Irish band Therapy?. One Cure Fits All is the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2004 album Never Apologize Never Explain and is their eleventh album overall. Led by singer/guitarist Andy Cairns, Thereapy? exploded out of Ireland in '89 and have continuously released albums that are relevant, modern and passionate. Recorded with the help of Pedro Ferriera (famed for his production of The Darkness) in the producer's chair, Therapy? have far surpassed all expectations and delivered an album that should feature in everyone's top albums list. Tracks like 'Sprung', 'Deluded Sun', 'Fear Of God' and 'Private Nobody' show the continued growth of the band . Rajon.

CD Reviews

Great cords and energy as usual

"Therapy? definitely on the momentum right now. This is their last effort and sounds exactly how you would have expected from them. One of the best albums that they ever reordered!!!

Therapy? at their best!

Strongly recommended. Also check Never Apologise Never Explain and High Anxiety."
Can't complain, though not necessarily a stand-out either

"Hehehee I have to admit, I almost didn't buy this because the album art on this CD is hands-down the UGLIEST album cover I've ever seen in my life!! I mean, I know Therapy? is not exactly known for their pretty album covers, but c'mon, there should be laws against this sort of thing.... :)

Anyway, I closed my eyes and bought it anyway because as a long-time fan there isn't a single full-length of theirs that I haven't bought! But onto the review. I have to say that this one didn't immediately grab me like the last release (Never Apologize Never Explain) did. The last one was raw and aggressive, and took me by surprise. This one is not so raw, a little more "mellow" and melodic; perhaps more along the lines of albums like High Anxiety or Semi-Detached. It's a bit uneven; some songs are lukewarm, but there are a few real stand-outs, my favorite being the lyrically brilliant Dopamine Seratonin Adrenaline! Is it worth the import price? Maybe; if you generally like all their other albums, there is no reason why you wouldn't like this one. If you can get one cheaper, though, there is no reason not to recommend it!

Therapy? has again made noise to come storming our US shores

"The last two albums, "Never Apologize, Never Explain" and "One Cure Fits All" are stil both not currently available domestically in the US, and fans have to shell out extra money to improt them. Well, let me tell you, "One Cure Fits All" is well worth the time and effort. Again the energy is back in the band as it was when they noticeably hit the USA back in 1993 with "Hat's Off to the Insane" and "Troublegum", building of Nurse in 1992.

Highlights, tracks "Unconsoled"- track 7, and my favorite Track 6 "dopamine, seratonin, and adrenaline". Low's-NONE. Good melodies are weaved in as usually, which will make some of these tracks the annoying songs that you hum all day long. This album is great through and through. Buy this album"
