"This CD is fabulous! Fun! I read a review of it online, and the reviewer said "these guys ARE the Soggy Bottom Boys!" (i.e. O', Brother Where Art Thou?). Their music is sort of punk/bluegrass/ Americana, very original. . . homegrown music, familiar and strange, with a lot more soul than home on the range. :)Danny Barnes (The Bad Livers) plays banjo and sings, and has written some truly intriguing lyrics. He's an Interesting Character. Jon Parry (Goose Creek Symphony) plays fiddle. . .fluently. Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple) is the bass player. . .good stuff. This is Happy Music. I'm glad have it."

"This is one of my Top 5 desert island CDs. It's a great listen with fun lyrics and top musicianship. It's difficult to put thi music into a traditional genre, but if you are a music enthusiast across a number of types of music like myself you will be sure to enjoy this CD. HIGHLY recommended. Another Danny Barnes favorite is "Dirt on the Angel." Have Fun!"
