A Vibrant Live Recording - Will have you tapping your toes!

"While a lot of live recordings are a real disappointment, here is a splendid live recording that will have you thirsting for more. Recorded live in Paris, Timbuk 3 plays a wide variety of songs (including some previously unrealeased) with a powerful backing band and shows what a live recording can be. Having seen the band live many times I approached this recording with cautiion. I was expecting the usual flat live greatest hits package. Ha, was I wrong. While Timbuk 3 has since split up, this recording will always serve as a remnder of how good they were to see live."

"seriously, one of the great husband and wife teams. timbuk 3's pat & barbara k. mcdonald have been the most accomplished intelligent musical teams imaginable. their lyrics are insightful and strangely unboring for irony even after a few thousand listens. Their song structure is inventive and sturdy and their musicianship is suberb. buy this album and every timuk 3 offering you can find."
