Small Histories Yield Big Rewards...

"This album is an expertly-layered, beautiful, and mellow slice of post-rock. Unlike the majority of other post-rock bands, the emphasis here is on the keyboards; making for a unique sound in a genre full of virtual clone bands.
The album suffers from a vocalist who should have never emerged from the woodwork. The songs without any singing are far better, with "Lull" the lock for best song on the disc.
Perfect for winding down or going to sleep, 'Record of Small Histories' is not the ultimate album... but you may find yourself listening to it on a ridiculously frequent basis. Recommended for fans of Explosions in the Sky, Yo La Tengo, and the gentler side of Mogwai."
