"Ashley Peacock (not a stage name!) and The Times are ready. They're primed. They were the runners-up in the 2005 Zippo Hot Tour, coming just "this close" to a whirlwind tour in which they'd open for the All-American Rejects. In this reviewer's humble opinion, they should have won, and furthermore, if they had won, they would have stolen the show. The Times are that good.



If you're into the latest wave of Brit-style pop/rock a la Coldplay and James Blunt, then The Times will slide smoothly into your shuffle mix without losing ground to those other awesome acts and more. I have them lumped in with bands such as the above, as well as Radiohead, The Fray, Aqualung, Blue Merle, Keane, Nada Surf, Snow Patrol, and artists like Damien Rice, Howie Day, Rob Thomas, and David Gray.
