One of the worst singers ever!

"Very ordinary voice is unappealing to begin with. What makes it worse is that the singing is pitchy. If she were an Idol contestant, she wouldn't make it past the auditions.Skip this!"
Bad voice better downed out by synthesizers!

"Tina Arena's voice is very plain, one that's not any meter better than your typical trying-hard karaoke singer. The mix in this album was a bad idea -- by letting her non-appealing voice dominate the recording, whatever good is left of the song (lyrics, melody) is dragged to the low-quality depth where her voice lies.Skip this. There are many other artists out there that are worth listening to!"
Tina, go back to school and take voice lessons!

Really is a dare!

"It really is a dare to listen to this worthless single! It's better "burned" ad "twisted" (but she's definitely no angel). As someone has said in her poorly reviewed CDs, "Tina Arena SUCKS! She's an overrated singer with a very plain voice!" How true! And looney Derrick Lam has the gall to compare her to the brilliant and very talented international theater star Lea Salonga? Oh puh-leez! She's no better than trash on Ms. Salonga's shoes!"
'Happy' Finds Arena Unleashing Her Inner Disco Diva

"One of the real travesties in music in the last few years is the failure to break Aussie diva/icon Tina Arena, who's released two pretty strong records stateside that have gone largely unnoticed.'Dare You To Be Happy', from her current Australian release JUST ME, finds her teaming with disco/funk mastermind Nile Rodgers, who guided the classic Chic through their paces over two decades ago and helmed Madonna's LIKE A VIRGIN. Arena is at complete ease with this neo-disco thumper, which serves as yet another first-rate showcase for her typically flawless vocal work. The succeeding remixes, though good, follow a little too close production-wise to the original to distinguish themselves much. Overall, another sterling performance from this continually underrated vocalist."
