Tina shines again

"As a US for about 6 years now- it's so hard to get all the good info On Tina- but browsing through the Music section at a local department store, curiosity got the best of me when I picked up "Notre Dame De Paris"- I'm not much on Musicals- but one name mentioned on the promo sticker made it a must buy- "Tina Arena"- I couldn't wait to hear the album- I didn't even care for the rest of the music- I was so Tina Deprived - and this was AMAZING- I wish I could see the show- This single takes one of Esmeralda's Solo Songs (Tina was acutally offered the part after she recorded the song- the people involved with the show had her join the London Cast- and it became very successful- US fans may recognize this as one of the tracks on Celine Dion's Greatest Hits album- and her track is apparently the main feature on the soundtrack- but it's Tina who brings it homw. The song, both the show version and original version are great - and the club mix is one of the best I've heard- but what broke it for me was the Video- I never saw a Tina Arena Video until this single- She's Australia's little secret, and it's sad to see that the US'd rather listen to talentless posers than true music artists-"

"It doesn't really matter what Tina Arena sings, in French, Spanish, or English - it's beautiful. The lastest is a failed single (#63) in the UK for her performance in the play "Notre Dame de Paris". "Live For The One I Love" is simply, yes, a beautiful song, she sings it with such power and embrace that it assures us why we support this diva no matter what. The Soda Club remix is a danceable track with nice beats. We look forward to hearing more songs from Ms. Arena's 3rd album."

"Tina has such a beautiful and unique voice it really upsets me that she doesn't get the recognition she deserves in both the US and Canada. All of her albums are amazing and it doesn't matter what she sings she always sounds totally awesome. She is very talented and I'm sure her performance as Esmeralda in Notre Dame de Paris is outstanding. I wish her all the best of luck with it and can't wait for her to bring out her new cd. Really looking forward to that, you go girl! You're the best."
