"This was my favorite of the several Tito Rodriguez bolero albums PolyGram reissued circa 1994-95. All were very good, but this one includes "Olvidame", "Ya Son Las Doce" and other favorites."

"Hey Paly, have another cocktail while I tell ya' bout the chick who flew the coop and now Im trying to put out that torch. Just as well as Sinatra sang Angel Eyes and you knew what he meant, cause you been there yourself. Tito Rodriguez was a hell of a singer of ballads and you knew where he was coming from. Romantic songs of love and loss for grown ups. In Spanish but it just makes it, the song, the lush arrangements, and the voice all the more emotionally true. One for my baby and one more for the road."
