"Tommy Cash was my all time hero and his vocal range was just the same as mine, so for 2 years on Guam during the VN war I sang his tunes with my guitar every night....Tommy Cash always sounds great and these songs are fantastic, it is to bad his recording years were so short and his number of hits so small. I wish someone would have jumped in and saved his recording career.....Johnny Cash had the writing talent and Luther Perkins guitar style to be the big star in the family but Tommy had the better singing voice..it would have been great if Tommy Cash would have had Joe Souths or John Fogertys songs worked into country......."

"This release is essential for any serious collection simply based on the fact that he had 3 Top 10 hits. All of these songs are original recordings. The booklet features a very cheesy bio. A release this important should have more imformative notes. No recording info is included either. This is an essential release."
Very best of Tommy Cash

"This CD is great for Johnny Cash fans. Tommy Cash almost sounds like big brother Johnny. The difference is interesting, and Tommy has a better voice then big brother. I wonder what Tommys career would have been, if there was NO Johnny Cash."
