"The searing-hot tracks "El Preso", "Maria La Belicosa", "La Rumba Sin Evelio" and "Flores Para Mis Enemigos" are all superb examples of the 1970s "Salsa Dura" at its heaviest and best. This band plays some truly hot Salsa on this 1978 release which was produced by Luis "Perico" Ortiz. Simon Perez (who was a great sonero in his own right) and Paquito Guzman were the lead vocals on this masterpiece."
