"I just see there are just too many good hits collectio that really can either break a singer's career down to a great career, or a lackluster of one. Of course the hits collections really tell the tale. For the BMG Arist Collections from overseas, they really just need to really be in fine tuned to a wider audience for their contrast and the quality of the music. Of course the import collection has fumbled over with great artists and unfortunate portraits of their careers from Whitney Houston, Hall & Oates, and even Toni Braxton. Toni really proved herself as the next Anita Baker, and as one of themost seductive and soulful women in the industry. Nevertheless, this hits collection really doesn't hit the nail on the head.
The Artist Collection: Toni Braxton edition, is a collection of over a dozen of her tracks from her soulful career. The collection contains some of Toni's most popular songs including her #1 tracks, He Wasn't Man Enough, the seductive and elegant, Un-Break My Heart, Breathe Again, Love Shoulda Brought You Home, and Let It Flow from Waiting To Exhale. The songs are very good, but there are just a lot of her great songs overshadowed on this collection including You're Makin' Me High, I Don't Want To, Spanish Guitar, Hit The Freeway, and How Could An Angel Break My Heart. Sadly, those tracks weren't placed here on this collection.
All in all, the Artist Collection: Toni Braxton edition isn't really a must-have as a hits collection. There are just a lot of songs not found here that were big songs. Instead, I really suuggest you purchase the 2003 Ultimate Toni Braxton record. It fairs much better for its value, price and the number of hit songs on it is much better. This collection, isn't worth the money.
