"It's funny how albums like this (well, this is a bit unique) come around so many years later and are fawned over by the press and hipsters. What do we have here? Early minimalism/drone violinist Tony Conrad for some blessed reason hooking up with Faust at their compound back in 1972. TC already an idea, he just needed the open minded musicians of Faust to make it happen. Standard Rock ensemble with violin using a very basic beat and bass line (like how about 2 notes-wow!) to be the rhythm section while TC plays trance music. Here in 2007 this may be thought of as "so what"? Back in 1972 trance/drone music was not part of the Western music vocabulary. Now do you see? Groundbreaking, folks. And actually most listenable. Get this release before Table of the Elements runs out and they start going for big bucks!"
