Excellent Melodic Hard Rock

"Ok, I am biased, I am a big Tony Martin fan. I also wish that Sabbath kept Mr. Martin. Tony can sing, and Tony will work...Anyway, the songs are great, more like Deep Purple rather than Black Sabbath though. The music is little lighter than the Cage stuff, but very strong. The other comments are pretty accurate, the title track, Why Love and If It Aint Worth Fighting For are the best tunes. All I know is that the disc was going for quite a bit of cash until the rerelease so enjoy! The disc was so rare that Tony Martin himself did not own it! Buy the disc, Tony sings and plays guitar, and he is one of the last great rock vocalists. Guest musicians include the who's who of British rock royalty. Brian May, Cozy Powell, Neil Murray and more."

"Why a guy like Tony Martin who can sing circles around most (metal) singers can't find a lasting gig is beyond me. This guy has a great set of pipes and his albums with Sabbath were classic. Here, Tony shares the spotlight with no one, and he proves his worth. For a long time, this recording was as rare as it gets, so best to grab it while you can. A killer companion to this album is Our Cross, Our Sins by Rondinelli featuring Tony on vocals. Buy them both, and you'll be satisfied."
Great Solo Effort

"I Got this disk i think 2 Years, ago i still listening this CD, there are great songs on this disk .. the Remake of Sabbath song called Jerusalem is almost great as the original version of the Tyr Album .. the Hot spots in this disk are ...
the Ballad if There's a Heaven, Great song, great Vocal Performance by Mr Martin, Why Love and Title Song ..
Recommend for the fans that like the Sabbath CD's with Tony Martin on vocals .. this CD is more soft than the sabbath CD's but worth a listen ..."
Tony Martin shines once again - only softer.

"Yes, Tony Martin will always be my favorite vocalist. Although he always seems to lean toward singing in Heavy Metal type groups(which I like) this solo album is probably the lighter side of Tony, showing you what he's like without all the "Devil Lyrics" which probably scares away alot of potential listeners. I love everything he's done that I can get my hands on (except the Empire cd). My favorites are Black Sabbath- Eternal Idol, Headless Cross(his best vocals but bad recording) and Mollo & Martin- the Cage 2. Rumor has it we will see another solo cd in 2005, August? Can't wait!!"
Best by far!

"Tony Martin should be as well known as any singer who has topped the charts for the last decade and a half. But for some reason,he is flying under radar for the longest time.He is one of the most consistent great vocalists on the planet. He was great with Black Sabbath,The Cage,Misha Calvin,The Empire,Giuntini Project,etc...Need i say more? This album is no different.I've had it for the longest time, and it was out of print for a long time. There are some fast tracks, and alot of ballads, but all with the melodic tunes that make you wonder how he's not as well known as he should be.He also plays alot of instruments himself on this album.A great vocalist/song writer/musician in general, don't miss out on this great one. Also, his new album is coming out very soon.I'm sure it will be gold also."
