"Duelling Organs is not a new concept, hear 'Groove' Holmes and Jimmy McGriff on their great albums, but Tony & Joey aim to re-create this concept on this album. Tony Monaco was new to me, but I'm a great fan of Joey. They both compliment each other on this great album, and at times it's difficult to know which trio is actually playing. The liner notes tell you who's on each side. There's one track of Tony playing an accordion which I would give a miss, and another track of Radio Station interviews. I'd have preferred more music instead. Some good blues, gospel and , well, good old stomping organ playing. Verdict, go get it. You won't be disappointed if you're a Hammond fan."
