George Ziskind | NYC | 06/26/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "Albeit a drummer-led date - and in this case the drummer is the late, great, Tony Williams - this is in fact my favorite Mulgrew Miller (piano) trio date of all the trio dates that Miller has done. Mulgrew Miller has fine tuned his ability to present a perfect mix of the tradition with the delicious "outside" notes that give his playing a piquancy and a feel to be found in no other pianist on the current jazz scene."
