CD Reviews

"If you are looking for the Chuck Wagon And The Wheels from Tucson in the late 70's/early 80's you better stick to the old LPs. If this is them, and I seriously doubt it is, they made a 180 degree turn somewhere along the way. This is not Western Swing. You have been warned."
Not the same 'Classic Chuck'

"I have the vinyl Chuck Wagon & The Wheels LPs from the 80s and was looking foward to picking up where they left off. The tunes then were funny too, and it came natural. "You Shot The TV But Were Aiming At Me", "Disco Sucks" or even the serious (!!) cuts sounded as good as a live performance at a packed bar. And yes, they rocked. This pick sounds like it's forced & scripted, with awful fake ambiance. One hit wonder novelty country/western. This one is bound to be a discounted special real quick (watch the number of used copies for sale!!!) email me about availability of the old lps!For country novelty better get Run C&W or Pinkard & Bowden."
Hey, they BOUGHT the name!!

"This has no connection with the Chuck Wagon & The Wheels band from the 70's-80's. These guys are from Memville or Nashphis or somewhere, and bought the name. The album ain't horrible, but it's kinda like a tribute band. Luckily I was able to find a Chuck Wagon & The Wheels compilation at cdbaby.com with a quick search after hearing CW&TW "Ghost Riders" medley on kfat.com. Do that search. You'll be happier with that than this pasture patty"
