"New York street rap for fans of MOP, ONYX, EPMD, THE LOX etc. I haven't heard an album this good in a minute. You need this, if you like East Cost hip hop."
A much needed return to the REAL Hip Hop!

"For those of you who has been disappointed in the state of rap today and miss the glory days, especially when it comes to the East coast underground flavor, this album is the cure.
Marco Polo & Torae put together a stunningly good album, full of choice cuts, tight samples, and tight lyrics. Not much else needs to be said, considering how you can listen to the samples here, but in all honesty, the samples don't do some of these songs justice.
My favorites:
"Double Barrel" with DJ Revolution is the perfect song to start the album. Bangin' beat, catchy hook, and an overall great production.
"Party Crashers" I'll admit, I wasn't a huge fan of this one at first, but the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me. The beat will grow on you.
"Lifetime"- DJ Revolution absolutely KILLS it on this track. The hook alone is packed with samples of some of the best rap joints from back in the day. Without question, my favorite of the entire album. You WILL become addicted to this one. It's a banger. Plain and simple.
"Hold Up"- You can't listen to this one and not nod your head. It's not a hard beat, and it's not supposed to be. Lyrics are on point, and one of the smoothest flows on the album.
"Crashing Down"- This doesn't feel so much as a song, as it seems to be a painfully honest critique of the industry and what it was like for these guys to get into the rap game after it already peaked. When I first got the album, I was just looking for banging beats, so I skipped this one a lot. Eventually, I gave this one a chance, and now it's one of my favorites. The lyrics are a bit depressing, but they are definitely speaking the truth.
In all, a great album, without question it's among the best Hip Hop albums to come out in a while. Do yourself, the Hip Hop community, and these dudes a favor and buy it. We need to support the REAL Hip Hop. Marco Polo and Torae deliver.
