This is brilliant, possibly her best work since Boys for Pele. It's deeply melodic, lyrically haunting, compelling. Tori Amos is an odd poet most of the time, but these pieces are deeply coherent, emotionally resonant, and powerful. "Sleeps with Butterflies" is my favorite song of hers, anywhere, ever. Highest reccomendation.

Actually, I was a little disappointed in this CD.

I love her older stuff but her newer stuff is just too weird for me.
