"On this record, Tortoise sketched out their unique (and much imitated) fusion of rock, dub, jazz and electronic music. This is a band who know how to use the studio as an instrument in itself, and it's a really solid release, although not as electrifying as the 20 minute plus 'Djed' that was to come on 'Millions now living...'.

I didn't even intend to write this review, but the jerk who wrote the 'I hate this sort of thing' review had this album sat online with one star, and that's not right! Why do these people want to celebrate their close-mindedness online? Go and review a recording about which you actually have something to say!"
