In Thru Out doesn't just move, it travels--and takes the listener along for the ride. The CD starts in the clouds, with buzzing, swelling phasers, then descends to the earth like an awkward pelican. It pounds the ground for a while with a simple four on the floor, then rushes back into the atmosphere with the wings of a 747. This CD is a smartly cohesive musical sojourn through fields of breeze-bowed strings, rampant stampedes of rhythm patterns, and swarms of electronically generated sounds diverse enough to warrant their own taxonomies.
