"I saw Touch play in 1968 in Vancouver, Washington just before their LP came out and they were hotter live than they EVER were on record because the record was unable to capture the energy and full creativity they brought to the music they played. None the less, I immediately bought their album the minute it came out and wore it out after so many playings. Unfortunately they never got the recognition they so richly deserved because as everyone else here has so eloquently observed, they were the initiators of prog rock long before Genesis or any of the others. They out-fudged Vanilla Fudge by long shot and I saw them both live. John Bordanaro was every bit as dynamic and innovative on drums as Carmine Appice ever was. I want this CD really bad, but $148.00 is a bit too much even for this one. Maybe someone will wise up (Are you listening Rhino?) and reissue this CD so that everyone who wants to can recapture the magic that Touch brought to the music world."
