"I first heard the Trailer Park Troubadours a few years ago when I lived in Santa Cruz. KPIG, the excellent alt-country-bluegrass-whatever station in nearby Freedom, played "My Baby Whistles When She Walks" one afternoon in the car, and I nearly lost it. It was like country with the playfulness of They Might Be Giants, and I deem that a good thing.

Rushed out to the record store to buy it, and wasn't disappointed. Their cover of Olivia Newton-John's "Have You Never Been Mellow?" alone is worth the price of admission.
