Rockin' Cool...Blues!!!!
Karen A. Ferguson | Sunnyvale, CA. | 11/27/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Well, if you haven't heard of this trio, like I hadn't until last Oct at King Biscuit Blues Festival..you are in for a fabulous, rich experience. I'm jealous of you as I've listened to everything they have for sale...and I'm waiting for more.

First off, the 2 brothers, Nick and Kris, and sister, Danielle Schnebelen, are beyond talented. Together...well, hold on...you are in for a ride. Rich, deep sounds come out of their throats. You would think it was a trio in their 40's...but they don't look over 25.

"May I Be Excused" rocks with deep blues, the beat sways back and forth, and you hit the "back" button 3 times because you wonder where the lyrics have been all your life & why the words had never been written before! I cried when I heard it the first time at King Biscuit.

I thought, "Oh my God, who are these people?!! Each song after that..well, I didn't move during the whole set. And, I ran off immediately to purchase the CD. No wonder they were the 2008 International Blues Contest Winners this year!

I like them so much that I signed up for the Blues Cruise in January! I don't even remember what islands it's visiting: I get to hear TUF for a week!

I can't wait to hear them again, and again, and again....I've said that.

Classic and well-played guitar by Nick. His voice; I'd follow it anywhere. Kris knows his drums and I look forward to more solo riffs from him.

Danielle's voice takes me back to the 60's...she has some of the spirit of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick running through her licks....just the depth of her voice resonates BLUES.

Well, is that enough?? On top of which, they write!! She plays guitar...what more is there? Sigh....Rockin' Cool music...They're so good, they belong in Willie King's famous juke joint, Bettie's Place.

There's no doubt in my mind that they will pack a stadium some day...and I'll be there close to the stage.

Best,

Karen in California"
