Great soundtrack

"As many other reviewers have stated, this is a great soundtrack, and here we will have to include the dreaded word.....
.... 'but'....
It is very frustrating to watch a movie and enjoy the soundtrack so much that you want to go straight out and purchase it, but you discover that there are important elements missing. While there is a strong 'country' feel, there are also several latin songs in the movie that are not included in the soundtrack. These occur in the restaurant that Bree works in, and they added an important flavour to the mix. For example, a song by the actor Patricio Castillo that was recorded specifically for the film and is not available on any other disc, a song by the legendary Mexican singer Lola Beltran and one by the group Los Pamperos.
It makes you wonder why dialogue is included while these songs are not. Is it a matter of money ? I'm sure anyone interested enough to buy the soundtrack would like it to be complete. One Dolly Parton song does not a soundtrack recording make. Well, for this reviewer, anyway.
Three stars for the good stuff that is there, minus two stars for the important stuff that is missing."
