There is a reason everyone is giving them 5 stars

"When I purchased my Dell computer recently, I noticed a pre-loaded program on it called, "Instant Party". This was pretty cool. It had about 100 songs or more loaded incorporated with a visual effect as the songs play.
As I kept listening there were 3 songs in particular that I just kept going back to. After further investigation, I found that the same artist was responsible for the 3 songs I liked. The artist, "Tremolo". The songs, "Can You Feel It Now?", "Baby Blue", and "You Were Born For This"
I went to amazon.com and purchased the CD. I was amazed that they supposedly contribute 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this CD to charity work. It was apparent to me that this band has a greater purpose. I was amazed. And when you factor in that the music is actually really good, then you have a winner. This music is as fresh as it gets. I predict in a couple of months this band will take off to superstardom.
I will give you some of my personal thoughts on each song in the order that I came to like it.
"Can You Feel It Now?"
The first song and the hook song for me as far as being even remotely interested in this band. FRESH, energetic, unique.
"You Were Born For This"
Clearly the BEST song on this album. I rank it second only because "Can You Feel It Now?" was the first song to get me. Another upbeat song. At times, listening to the backup vocals in the background reminds me of the theme song to the television show "Friends", but beyond that, clearly the #1 on this CD.
"Baby Blue"
Is this song about an orphan? Very sad lyrics, although it has a driving beat and a very catchy tune. I can't get this song out of my head. And for now, that's not a bad thing.
"Evil Twin"
Very clever and comical song in my mind. Cool Tune. Nice backbeat. Resembles a Lenny Kravitz type song. "He's my next of kin, opposite of Zen, meet my evil twin".. funny.
"Promise Ring"
Warm, eerie at times, nice drum sound selection to match this song. After the first set of versus, during the break, I wish the strings would have gone right back down to their first note following the incline. "Hello you, Hello me".. catchy tune.
"I Believe (Love is the Greatest Revenge)"
"I believe in you I do I do I do believe in you even if you're not around, you're still in my life" - That's the catch to this song. Nice song, mellow, moderate tempo.
"New Eyes for a New World"
It took me a while to like this song, only because the very beginning sounds SO MUCH like U2.. and I've never been a U2 fan. After a few listens, and mentally blocking the U2 sound, I like it. Good drumming. I would encourage all of the U2 haters not to listen to this song first. Come back to it after you've been hooked on the rest of the CD.
AND IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER..
"Waiting Room"
Up tempo. Cool tune. It needs something else to me. Has potential.
"Room 139"
Isn't this a No Doubt song? The beginning sounds like something I've heard from No Doubt. Then it goes into this funky 80's sounding song. I almost want to sing "Come on Eileen" to it.
"Down to Beautiful"
Nice. I haven't found anything too special about this song yet. I'm going to give it some more listens.
"We are the New Black"
"This is a public service announcement". Kind of strange, but this is one of those songs that I am sure I will love in another week or so. Lots of potential.
"Wait Up for Me"
Somber, resolved song that belongs at the end, and I don't mean that in a negative way. I believe song placement is very important on a CD and this is a great song to end the CD with.. right before you go back to song number 1 again. Leaves you with a good feeling.
Overall, I found this CD very enjoyable. I have yet to discover it in full as I kept listening to the same 3 songs over and over and have just recently started listening to the other songs on the CD. I didn't hear any curse words and I don't believe there are any. I would highly recommend this CD. You had better start listening to them now, so you can claim that you have been a fan all along when they get big.

"Looking for a Pop Rock Album that will make you sing along and be happy all summer? This is the album you need. The songs remind me of U2 at times. Some of the songs affect me the same way as the best songs by Paul McCartney, wonderful melodies that I can't help but sing along with. The lyrics are positive, clean, amusing, and upbeat. I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves good pop music. This is mainstream Rock at its best. I can't wait to tell others 20 years from now that I got hooked on the DEBUT album."
Excellent
