"I have been a fan of James Horner, Hans Zimmer, John Debney, Danny Elfman etc. I had never heard of Trevor Rabin before this album and had always thought is was Zimmer who did this album until I bought it. It is a great album. There are many many themes that are in here and they are repeated in different ways throughout the album. Sure there are the occasional "skipper" tracks, but they are usually less than 2 minutes so you don't miss too much of the album. Armageddon Suite is awesome cause it is not in the movie and after the long slow intro, one of the themes is played with a guitar and it just keeps getting better from there. Harry And Grace Make Peace is a great track as well. Launch is awesome. Leaving, Long Distance Goodbye and Landing are all great. I would really recommend buying this album if you like The Rock soundtrack, or Pirates of the Caribbean. Or at least buy some from iTunes."

"Let me first say that I thoroughly enjoyed this score from the first time I listened to it. There is no question saying that this music is deffinately not bad. I am an avid fan of the music by Hans Zimmer, of which I am constantly reminded of when I hear this soundtrack. However, there are a few minor flaws I feel needed to be pointed out. This score is heavily synthesized. I am that there are some to which this does not matter. Frankly, I believe that this style of music when used properly does fit the moivie better than an orchestral version. Still, that is my biggest flaw. The second problem I found is that the track listings are completely out of order. I'm sure that this was done to filter the exciting and powerfull tracks with the not so exitign and powerfull tracks together to keep the listener interested but it doesn't change the fact that it is an inconvenience and kind of annoying. The music on the other hand, as I have said is still top notch. If those two things do not bother you, by all means get this soundtrack. If they do bother you, they really aren't enough for you not to like it. Overall Grade: 4 out of 5."
